FOOD PORN x ISOMETRIC x MINIATURES

This project was part of an assigment in my last year of studies. Where the project had to be personal and last two months. Has a personal challenge went for drawing food, a less favorite, but as important as the characters in my life is food.

for putting my project in some context, without too much background I went for an isometric perspective as point of view. Somewhere i feel very comfortable in.

I draw more dishes, to have where to choose.

As the selection of the dishes I colored the choose sketches, for having a little bit of context in flavors.

The next step was the lineart of all the dishes so I could, as part of the assigment, render them.

This is where, in the case of my own project and not an assigment, I would have leave it here, with out render... but that was not the challenge.

Because this was the important part of the assigment I render all the images and, with help of the teacher Monroy, I color corrected the shadows to warmer tones and then render them truly

As last but not least

I add some funky characters to the illustrations to give it some movement and sizing.

The food at the end is the most important, to make it look super yummy. But the characters at the end give some light to the digital art in a way I have no words to explain.
